"Well those statistics are definitely shocking! I guess I always thought things like that only happened occasionally and not in staggering numbers. I knew there were sick people out there who hurt children because they are helpless, but had no idea there were that many. That makes me very sad. The subject does seem to be "TABOO" - seldom brought up or discussed. It is an ugly subject and I see it even with the little bit of contact I've passed on here at work with your business, etc. Mention sexual abuse and people look at me as if I've said a bad work or something."
